Privacy Policy

Overview

Effective 2026-07-01 · v1.0-CK. This Privacy Policy explains what RangeNodes (rangenodes.com) (Casting Karma LLC) collects, how we use it, and your choices. The Service is for adults 18 or older; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 and we do not ask for your date of birth.

1. What we collect

Account information (if you create an account): your email address and a password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form). We do not collect your date of birth.

Content you submit: load data, attestations, and any optional chronograph photo or CSV you upload.

Limited technical data: basic usage/analytics and a hashed (not raw) form of your IP address, used for security, abuse prevention, and accountability of submissions.

Local storage: we store your 18+/Terms acceptance and basic preferences in your browser so we don't re-prompt you unnecessarily.

2. How we use it

To operate the Service (search, contribution, accounts); to moderate content and maintain safety and accountability; to process subscription billing; to send transactional and (if you opt in) update emails; to understand and improve usage; and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not charge for or sell any physical component.

3. How it's shared

With service providers (subprocessors) that process data on our behalf under their terms — Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database/auth), Cloudflare R2 (object storage), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). We may disclose information where required by law or to protect safety and rights, and in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

Affiliate or retailer links may take you to third-party sites; their privacy practices govern once you leave the Service.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use essential browser storage (for your age/Terms acceptance and preferences) and limited analytics, defaulting to privacy-preserving choices and avoiding unnecessary tracking.

5. Retention & security

We keep personal data as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards (HTTPS, hashed passwords, hashed IPs); no system is perfectly secure.

6. Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may clear your browser storage at any time. We do not sell personal information (including under the CCPA/CPRA). Depending on your location you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Note: published/contributed load data is community data and may remain in the database in de-identified form even after account deletion; contributors may request removal under ToS §10.

7. Age (18+)

The Service is intended only for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
